Our First Tannenbaum

Lindsay: Today we got our first Christmas tree!  After school, Christopher and I drove over to a place on Ridge Avenue and picked out a tree.  The people were really friendly and let me look at all of the trees so that I could pick out one that I like.  A few days ago, we went to WalMart and picked out some sparkly decorations including jingle bells, bows, balls, and  star with glitter, of course.  I made sure to bake some cookies and pick up egg nog for the tree decorating.  Chris wheeled the media cart into the living room and put on Rudolph for me which made me very happy. 

We couldn't make the top branch any shorter, unfortunately, so the star is tilted and it looks really funny. we had it up on the highest bow, but I couldn't get a picture of the whole tree with the star included that way.  It was hilarious.  By the way, Chris is amazing.  He managed to fix strands of Christmas lights to hang on the tree.  He's pretty handy.
